2023 Las Vegas GP: Is F1 Really Racing on the Las Vegas Strip?
That last time Formula 1 hit Las Vegas was back in the 1980s, and that was essentially a forgettable 2-mile run around the Caesar’s Palace’s car park.
This time around, F1 will actually shut down the streets of Las Vegas, turning it into a 3.8-mile track dubbed the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, including 17 corners and F1’s best racers zipping past the neon-soaked iconic locations of Sin City.
That includes blasting past famous hotels along The Strip, like the Bellagio, Caesar’s Place, and The Venetian — as well as the new headline-grabbing MSG Sphere — at speeds over 200 MPH, before a braking zone and slowdown near Planet Hollywood.

It’s all about the temperature
