MotoGP News: Two Rivals, Two Race Weekends in Qatar and Valencia
The season is coming to a close, and there’s still no clear indication of who’s taking this year’s title. It’s been an incredible battle between Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, but it’s impossible to predict a winner!
Bagnaia was incredible in the first half of the season. He built out a nice lead, and as the reigning World Champion, it seemed like this year’s title would be a walk in the park for the Italian.
But, the Spaniard on his Prima Pramac machine had other plans. Jorge Martin came out of nowhere to challenge the Ducati favorite for the title. It seemed as though Pecco had everything under control, but a couple of mistakes led to Martin closing the gap massively in the middle of the season.
Now the gap is down to just 14 points. There’s a total of 74 points still up for grabs in 2023, so it’s all to play for in the final two rounds of the season!
Will Martin overtake Bagnaia in the championship this weekend? Can Pecco keep his cool and get a second consecutive title under his belt?
