That said, some broadcasters may only hold rights to show highlights or certain matches, so always look at a broadcaster’s actual programming to see if you can watch a specific Champions League match there.

Watch PSG – Manchester City Abroad
Using one of the broadcasters above, you should be able to watch the Champions League match between PSG and Manchester City. Though, sometimes you might need a paid subscription. And even if you have one, certain streams don’t work outside of their designated region. These are often called geo-blocks and there is a way around these. By using a VPN, you can change your IP address to that of another region. That way, it can seem like you’re in the right area, even if you’re not.
For example, you have a subscription to the UK-based BT Sport, but you’re currently not in the UK. With a VPN, you can connect to a server in the UK and take on a UK IP address. With this IP address, you can watch BT Sport with your subscription, even though you’re actually not inside of the UK. This works for most streaming services worldwide, especially if you already have a subscription.
If you don’t have a subscription, it’s difficult to get one from abroad. Most streaming services and broadcasters have added a location check based on your method of payment. This makes it hard to subscribe to a broadcaster from another country without the appropriate credit card for example. However, there are broadcasters that don’t need accounts or subscriptions, meaning you can access their Champions League stream from anywhere in the world, for free, using a VPN.
