How to Watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans Free in 2023
There have been three rounds of racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship so far. Broadcasting rights have changed hands since last year’s race, and our team has spent the first half of the season trying out various streaming platforms in the lead-up to the biggest event of the year — the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
We were able to hunt down a free stream on the Belgium-based RTBF Auvio player. There’s just one catch: RTBF is only available in Belgium. Anyone trying to access their account from another country will run into geo-restrictions.

What to Expect at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
It’s time for Round 4 of the World Endurance Championship — better known as 24 Hours of Le Mans, the toughest and most brutal endurance race on the calendar. Along with the Indy 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix, it forms part of a trifecta of the most anticipated motorsport events every year.
This year the 24 Hours of Le Mans is extra special — it’s been a century since the first race in 1923. As such, this event has been dubbed the “Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans.” We’re expecting tons of celebrations on race day, so make sure you tune in to catch all the action.
So far, the weather is looking great, the drivers seem focused, and the teams are ready for the toughest challenge in motorsport!
Hypercars
In the Hypercars category, Toyota has been dominant so far. They’ve taken victory at each of the first three rounds of the season, with Brendon Hartley scoring the most points out of all the drivers so far. If you’re placing any bets, first check which car he’s in for Le Mans — he’s the common denominator when it comes to winning.
Ferrari has been putting up a decent challenge in the 449P — they’ve been very competitive for their first season in the Hypercar category. Porsche follows closely behind, but they have quite a mountain to climb if they want to take victory at Le Mans.
LMP2
In the LMP2 category, United Autosports holds a firm lead in the championship. They’ve been consistently fast, sometimes even picking off some of the slower Hypercars, such as the Peugots. Prema Racing isn’t too far behind them, though, and they could well challenge for a win at Le Mans as well.
LMGTE AM
In the GT category, Corvette Racing has been leading the charge, bringing in a significant haul of points in the first three rounds of the season. Unless something goes massively wrong for them at Le Mans, expect them to be fighting for the podium spots. Proton Competition and AF Corse are currently second and third, giving Corvette a real run for its money.
