Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams Predictions
The two NFC West rivals have had a disappointing season so far, and the losing team will mostly slip out of playoff contention. This is the second encounter between the two teams, with Rams winning the first game in Phoenix by 20-12.
However, the Rams (3-5) have not looked good since that week 3 matchup. Their offense has been abysmal, with virtually no run game to speak of. The team ranks 31st in rushing yards and 29th in points per game. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp has 813 receiving yards. On the defense, linebacker Bobby Wagner has kept the team competitive, with 64 tackles through eight games.
Their opponents, the Cardinals (3-6), are coming off a tough 31-21 loss against the Seattle Seahawks in week 9. Quarterback Kyler Murray had an underwhelming game by his own high standards, passing for 175 yards, rushing for 60, and throwing two touchdowns.
Murray has 2,168 passing yards through nine games, throwing 12 touchdowns. It will take a big performance from the former first-overall pick to win against the Super Bowl 56 champs.
