How to Watch the Tottenham vs. Manchester City (Outside the US or UK)

Our favorite broadcasters are SlingTV and Peacock. However, you can only access these streaming platforms inside the United States. Without an American IP address, you can’t use either of these platforms to stream Premier League matches. The same would go when trying to access British content outside the UK.

Luckily though, you can use a virtual private network (VPN) to change your device’s IP address to one in the US or the UK when trying to connect to the streams listed above. By doing so, you’ll change your device’s virtual location and be able to access live streams from anywhere in the world.

Here’s how you can live stream Tottenham vs. Manchester City (and other Premier League games) using a VPN.

1. Get a Surfshark subscription

You can use a VPN to change your IP address to a country of your choice. This new connection routes your traffic through the server and makes it appear as if your device is accessing the internet from the server’s location. When you connect to a VPN server in the U.S., you can access any content that is only available to American citizens.

Our team has reviewed more than 70 VPN providers, but Surfshark always proves to be the best when it comes to live sports streams. We’ve enjoyed some thrilling 2022/2023 Premier League matches with Surfshark!

Here are a few reasons why Surfshark is our favorite VPN:

  • More than 600 USA servers in 15 different cities
  • Static IP addresses for streaming servers in New York and London
  • Lightning-fast, WireGuard-powered connection speeds
  • 30-day money-back guarantee

Surfshark is also incredibly user-friendly. You start by signing up and downloading the VPN onto your favorite streaming device.

Surfshark is available on all major app stores, and you can download it on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. You can even install this VPN on your router or Smart TV. With the app downloaded, log into your account, and connect to a server in the U.S.

If you’re still on the fence about paying for the VPN, try out their 30-day money-back guarantee. You can use it to enjoy a whole month of Premier League action, Champions League, and more!

2. Choose a streaming platform and get a subscription

With a VPN installed on your device, you’re going to need a good stream for Premier League matches. Here are some of the best Premier League streaming platforms:

  • Peacock TV
  • YouTube TV
  • FuboTV
  • Sling TV
  • Hulu + Live TV
  • DIRECTV STREAM
  • Sky Sports (UK)
  • Amazon Prime (UK)

Always make sure to connect to a US (or UK) server with your VPN before you visit the streaming site. You won’t be able to access the stream if you skip this step! If the stream isn’t working with the VPN active, try to access it with a different browser or try using Incognito Mode.

Tottenham vs. Manchester City: What to Expect

Tottenham will be the hosts of this titanic battle in Matchweek 22. These two teams met not so long ago in Matchweek 20 on Jan. 19, 2023 in the reverse fixture. That one ended 4-2 in favor of Manchester City, who hosted the match at the Etihad Stadium, so it’s fair to say that Tottenham will be looking to strike back at their home ground.

The previous match saw Tottenham take the early lead just before halftime, with the visitors scoring two rapid-fire goals before the whistle. Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal netted the goals for Tottenham, but as soon as the second half kicked off, Manchester City came out swinging. Their first goal came in the 51st minute through Julian Alvarez, and that’s when the floodgates opened. Erling Haaland scored just two minutes later, and Riyad Mahrez netted two more goals throughout the second half to seal the game.

There have been some interesting developments between these games, though. Jan. 31 was transfer deadline day, and we saw Manchester City send their star left-back Joao Cancelo to Bayern Munich on loan, while Tottenham signed new right-back Pedro Porro on loan from Sporting Lisbon. It’ll be interesting to see how the absence of Cancelo and the addition of Porro affects these two teams.

Haaland will be raring to get the ball into the net as usual. The Norwegian sniper has broken all sorts of Premier League records. Halaand has been simply unmatched, scoring 25 goals in 19 games this season. To put that into perspective, last season’s top scorer was Mohammed Salah, who ended the season with 23 goals in 35 matches. Harry Kane, Tottenham’s striker and captain, is currently second in the top scorer list with 15 goals.

Both of these teams have been struggling defensively, so we can fully expect another barrage of goals on Sunday! Can Tottenham take revenge for their defeat in the last match, or will Manchester City boss the Spurs on their home turf? We’ll find out in an exciting match on Sunday!
